(REF: 125) Calcification
DHVI’s camera was deployed to provide a complete overview of the client’s wellbore condition. The customer originally had an obstruction that was impeding surface production. A decision was taken to use a small dress mill but shortly after the milling operation they could not get a successful pressure test on the wellbore. The Camera was deployed from surface to investigate and identify the condition of the Rams in the B.O.P’s. As the video progresses down the wellbore an increased calcium build up is evident as well as larger deposits to the casing wall. Further down the well, mill marks appear on the low side of the casing and eventually to the area where the mill has breached the casing wall. Continuing down hole a full scale blockage is eventually revealed. The client was later able to remediate the well using the video and run a larger mill to remove the calcification blockage, increasing their production significantly. (REF: 124) Casing Split - Open Hole Formation
The Capture Live camera system was deployed on e-line enabling the client to see footage of their wellbore in real- time. DHVI have the ability to live stream anywhere in the world enabling customers to make on the fly decisions during their logging programs. Real time data acquisition saves both time and money, in this case the camera was run in hole to inspect a suspected casing obstruction around 55 degrees deviation. The camera successfully identified a parted casing open to formation. With the data captured, the operator was able to effectively evaluate the condition of the wellbore, and accurately plan for the next step in well operations. (REF: 123) Camera Caliper Combination Survey
DHVI was called out for an urgent job as the client had suspended Fracturing operations due to a downhole milling issue. The camera and caliper combination, C3 tool, was deployed on e-coil to the area of interest where it was apparent that the casing had deformed. The mill marks seen in the video reveal the extent of the deformation within the casing, The caliper was engaged to measure the extent of the wall loss and buckling within the casing section. The video and 3D analysis was streamed live to the customer’s head office enabling them to discern that the wall loss was not significant enough to suspend fracturing operations. The well was completed and the defect noted for any further operations, saving the customer lost time and the potential of losing the well. Find out more at www.dhvi.net
(REF: 122) Packer Inspection
Our industry leading Capture Live HD Camera was deployed in real-time on e-line with the ability to live stream to the clients office, enabling the client to make on the fly decisions during the logging program and data acquisition saving both time and money. The camera was deployed to inspect the area where the packer was set and to perform a visual bubble test. Particulates were floating in the well and metal shavings from previous milling operations were sitting on top of the packer. No bubbles were identified during the inspection and the operator was able to move forward with operations. Find out more at www.dhvi.net

Our industry leading Capture Live HD Camera was deployed in real-time on e-line with the ability to live stream to the clients office enabling the client to make on the fly decisions during the logging program and data acquisition saving both time and money. The video indicates that the client had milled through the cement inside of the casing, through the casing, through the cement on the outside of the casing, and then into open formation. The sideview camera identified the edge of the casing wall with cement visible on the inside and outside of where the casing was previously located. Open formation is also visible next to the cement. From the video, the customer was able to accurately evaluate the condition of the wellbore to properly plan their path moving forward. Find out more at www.dhvi.net
(Ref: 120) Ghost hole video
Our industry leading Capture Live HD Camera was deployed in real-time on e-coil and live streamed to the clients office, enabling the client to make on the fly decisions during the logging program and data acquisition, saving both time and money. The camera quickly identified that a ghost hole had been drilled into the formation and the camera was now passing out into open hole and along the back side of the frack liner. The camera was used to follow along the backside of the frack liner which was still in relatively good shape up to determine the precise failure point. A known and previously milled on tight spot was now identified as a bowtie collapse which was milled through the casing, now exposing a path to the outside of the frack liner. The full extent and severity of the collapse was identified and the customer was able to then make informed go forward decisions. Find out more at www.dhvi.net
(Ref: 119) Casing Split
DHVI were called to investigate an anomaly within a new completion. The operator was unable to retain pressure in the wellbore in order to shift sleeves with a ball drop system, they had a Fracturing Crew on standby. The C3 Capture Camera and Caliper with Temperature sensors, was deployed on a tractor. The video and data were live streamed to the customer to determine what the issue was. The camera quickly identified the longitudinal split in the casing joint and the caliper was then used to determine the extent of the split and what the internal restrictions were. The LAS caliper data was converted into a printed 3D model and incorporated into the analysis to allow the customer to be able to visualise the issues on the wellsite. The customer was able to investigate the issues further and make quick decisions to reduce costs and mitigate the issues on their other wellbores. Find out more at www.dhvi.net
(Ref: 118) Hole in casing wall
In this video the client deployed our live Capture camera with its high resolution down and side view cameras to inspect multiple points of interest after a window was cut in the casing. The first area of interest was to inspect the visible element of the packer that was set below the window. Once the packer was identified to be in good working order, we proceeded further up hole. A hole in the casing was identified as we were pulling up to the window. Open formation was clearly visible and magnetized metal shards were seen clinging to the edges of the damaged casing. After data was captured using the down view camera and multiple rotations of the side view camera, we pulled up further to inspect the top of the cut. The concentration of particulates floating in the wellbore began to intensify, but we were able to see indications of a successful cut. (Ref: 117) Slickline camera fishing operation
DHVI recently mobilised to a customer’s platform in the North Sea assisting in a fishing operation. The Capture HD Memory Camera was deployed on slickline to locate and identify the fish. The proprietary Capture Measure post run dimensioning software was then used to accurately measure the fish to within 2mm in diameter. With this valuable data the fishing crew made their retrieval plans. Once the fishing operation had successfully removed the restriction, using the video data, a gauge was run to confirm all was as expected.
